Nestled within a heritage building along the East Coast Road in Singapore, Monk’s Brew Club is a unique amalgamation of a brewery, cafe, and co-working space. Rooted in the ethos of fostering conversation, collaboration, productivity, and meaningful connections, the establishment caters to a spectrum of needs. The venue serves as a conducive setting for quiet discussions, moments of reflection, and study, while also providing networking areas for collaboration.

We proposed extending the playful branding approach into the physical space. To convey this concept, we proposed unconventional lighting structures and offering diverse seating and table options to amplify the eclectic atmosphere, providing everyday users with a heightened sense of choice. In order to preserve and elevate the vintage charm of the ceiling, we suggest enveloping it in the brand’s signature green color. Additionally, our proposed layout adopts an open format, fostering fluid movement, encouraging conversations, and facilitating potential collaborations.
